2. Prepare one account

Goal: confirm the account works on your phone and identify it in the desktop app.

Check the account on your phone

  1. Open TikTok for TikMatrix or Instagram for IgMatrix. Install the target app first if it is missing.
  2. Manually sign in to the account you want to use and complete any login verification.
  3. Open the profile, check the username, and confirm you can browse content normally.
  4. Set the phone's TikTok / Instagram app language to English for automation UI recognition. The desktop app can stay in your preferred language.

Check: the correct profile loads without a login prompt, verification screen or network error.

Identify the account in the desktop app

Automation scripts require an active paid license. If you are exploring free features, you can stop after connecting and controlling the phone on the previous page.

  1. Return to Devices, select only that phone, and check that the selected count is 1.
  2. In the bottom toolbar, open Scripts → Match Account.
  3. Check that the platform and app package match the app installed on the phone. Start with an official app before adding cloned apps.
  4. Click Start Script and wait for completion. Keep the phone unlocked and avoid operating the target app manually while the task runs.
  5. Open Accounts in the left navigation. Find the username and verify its device association.

Check: the expected username appears in Accounts and is associated with the correct phone.

Account matching supports account management. The single-account posting exercise uses the account currently signed in on the phone, so check its username again before starting.
